Thanks heaps to the team at Positive Lending Solutions. I applied for a few types of credit constantly got knocked back by the banks with no real explanation. Upon asking for a reason you constantly get told that their criteria was not met. This is frustrating as they do not tell you what that criteria is. I have found Mark at Positive Lending Solutions to be extremely knowledgeable when it comes to home loans. His experience in this industry and finance in general, is invaluable but it was his interpersonal skills and his ability to go above and beyond what a Mortgage Broker is required to do, that impressed me the most.
After buying my first home some 6.5 years ago, I thought it time to buy another property purely for investment purposes but I didn’t quite know where and how to start. I approached Mark at the beginning of 2010 to help me with my loan along with my quest to become a successful property investor and he was only too obliging.
Mark was kind enough to sign me up for a free investment property seminar so as to help me gain a better understanding of the space I was attempting to enter. I walked away from the seminar with all my questions answered and extremely enthusiastic about investing money in property.
Being on a single income, some banks would not approve me for the full amount needed to build the property but this did not deter Mark. He used his nous and expertise to make sure I got sufficient enough loans from a couple of institutions to not only purchase and build my investment property but to also account for my lifestyle, spending patterns, income and expenses during the build phase and beyond.
This in itself, put my mind at ease as I now had everything mapped out and budgeted for me. He even built a layer of ‘fat’ into the forecast to allow for unpredictable delays in the building of the place (which did eventuate) and unforeseeable expenses that I may incur during that time. His genuine concern for my well-being was paramount and I valued this above everything else.
